For students.
Many students take and manage their class notes online, create virtual meetings, and actively participate online discussions. Most also share and compare these study materials with other students to gain a better understanding of course topics. Sometimes, laws, regulations and/or school codes of conduct may prohibit the uploading and sharing of certain content (for example, copyrighted lecture notes). It is your responsibility to know and comply with these provisions anytime you post study materials online. If you aren’t sure whether uploading class materials such as lecture notes, outlines, and flashcards to StudyGoals is likely to be a problem, a good rule of thumb is to check with your teacher or professor before posting them online. In addition, remember that if you do not behave on StudyGoals in accordance with your school’s code of ethics, and with your school’s policies regarding note sharing, cheating, and plagiarism – you could be subject to discipline by the school. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE NOT TO USE ANY THIRD PARTY TRADEMARKS, REGISTERED OR UNREGISTERED, IN THE FILENAMES OF MATERIAL.
